In order to be a successful luxury entrepreneur what advice would you give?
When launching something new, you have to think about what people need.
Necessity is the mother of all invention, so if you see a blank space in the market and you’re truly passionate about your idea, don’t give up until your vision becomes a reality!
What are the most important lessons you have learned along your journey?
It’s so important to have a single-minded focus, visualise success, dream big and dare to make your dreams a reality.
Life is limitless! Always reach for the stars. I always talk about the power of visualisation. Visualize what you want and don’t give up until you get it.
What are the watch outs along the way?
Self-belief is so important – it’s just our insecurities that stop us and block us. When someone tells me ‘No’, I instantly think, it will be a ‘Yes’!
When faced with any kind of challenge, see it as an opportunity to learn from and perceive it as a positive rather than a negative. When you’re passionate about something, anything is possible!
When you started out who was your biggest inspiration? And what did they tell you that helped make you a success?
It’s impossible for me to choose just one – I have a mix of creatives, visionaries and rule breakers that I look to for inspiration. From Helena Rubenstein, Coco Chanel and Walt Disney, to Steve Jobs, Winston Churchill and Estee Lauder…the list goes on.
These are the creatives who thought outside the box, the visionaries who make you dream and the rule-breakers who thought differently. I’m constantly learning from what they’ve achieved and how they put their own ‘ding in the universe’!
